User experience (UX) becomes increasingly profitable in the tech world, and for good reason. IT companies that invest in UX improvements are demonstrating better results in terms of user engagement, customer satisfaction, and increasing revenue. They are just realizing is  that UX is strongly impacting the online services market. UX reseach and writing help users and guide them to buy more.

As in e-commerce, UX fully impacts the persona’s journey with the app, website and mobile selling services. Communication details help educate them, make them comfortable, and lead their way to the final purchase.

In the world of online services, UX Writing is particularly important. When users seek to purchase a service, they are usually faced with a multitude of options. If the interface is confusing or difficult to navigate, users are likely to leave the site and look elsewhere. But with effective UX Writing, companies can guide users through the process and increase the chances of a successful purchase.

For example, imagine that you want to subscribe to some project management software. You’ve narrowed your options down to two different services, and now you’re trying to decide which one to use. Service A has a clean interface with clear and concise language, while Service B has cluttered screens. The probability of you considering this experience for the purchase is enormous, and you should choose the one that provided you with better efficiency and safety.

According to a survey carried out by Opinion Box, together with Digitalks, the main reasons for dropping out at the time of purchase are slow (50%) and non-responsive (56%) websites. They interviewed 1166 people who had already purchased through mobile devices, apps or websites. On the other hand, a study by the global business consultancy McKinsey, with 300 companies from different segments and countries, proved the impact of good User Experience (UX) practices in the profitability of companies in 5 years.

Ideally, a company shouldn’t waint until its interface causes some damage, to pay attention to UX. Acting proactively and preventively will always position you more competitively in the market. Some companies are still afraid to start a project in this area, believing it to be something for large corporations or big techs. However, it’s possible to carry out tests and viable projects in all sizes of companies.
